Hello everyone. I don't post too much to this list, but I sure enjoy everyone's comments and stories. I first saw the Optacon in 1973, and fell in love with it! I received training for one week in Flint Michigan at the Service Center for the Visually Impaired. I was a medical transcriptionist at the time, and the Optacon was very useful for reading the medical dictionary and other reference books. I still use the Optacon quite a lot at home, although I don't read novels like I used to. Guess I'm getting lazy! SMILE! Nice to hear everyone's keeping the Optacon alive!
