Cindy: My experience with handwriting is much like yours. There are a few
people whose handwriting is very clear and I can read it with the optacon, but
this is rare. But I used to have vision enough to be able to read with my nose
in a book, and I had the same problems with reading handwriting using my eyes
as I have with it using the optacon.
