Hello Theresa,

Try going into your email preferences and selecting a different font for the
message font. Mail -> Preferences -> Fonts & Colours. Also bring up one of the
problem emails and go to the View Menu -> Message -> Plain text Alternative.
See if either of these steps allows you to print.

Do the problem emails have HTML in them?
Do the problem emails have large attachments?

As a side note, you should always include the version number of the program in
question and the version number of your OS. Because mail.app has gone through
so many revisions, your problem may be handled differently based on your OS
level.
