I have gone to the website you mentioned, Paul. I have printed off the instructions, and will try them out later. I notice on the same website, they mention a Troubleshooting Mac OS X handbook, 2nd ed for $15.00 download. Looks pretty interesting. I have OS X for Dummies, which can be helpful, but this one looks more comprehensive. Tee: I've used Toast for years with OS 9 and have been happy with it. I was just investigating OS X and Apple's built-in burn feature. I guess what you're saying is buying a CD burner is the better alternative. I'll try out the instructions on this website from Paul and see how it goes.
