I've experienced two electronic package ejections from structural  
failures. The data was recovered from the EEPROM after impacts  from 2000 & 
4000 ft. 
The two components that do not tolerate terminal  velocity impact are 
pressure sensors and clock crystals. Electronincs  can be found on dry lake 
beds.
