Nigel,

I'm out in Massachussetts, USA, and have been looking for a Leo Calculator.
Why? Well, I have assembled a pretty interesting museum of braille cells over
the past 10 years and the unit manufactured in Australia by Robotron is still
missing.
Are there still some Leo units floating around in Australia, in whatever
condition, someplace?

By way of introduction: Tim McConnell (Quantum Technology) and Judy Adams (ex
TSI) who was a super person to interact with when I was in Sunnyvale organizing
the transition to Blazie Engineering of the TSI Blindness Division.

Regards,
Keith Shaw

Hi Dave,

I usually just watch from the sidelines but I just have to endorse something
you said. My association with TSI began in 1980 when I joined Wormald
International Sensory Aids as their Australian Applications Engineer and
Service Manager. In the time since I have had some level of interaction with
almost all manufacturers of adaptive technologies for low vision and
blindness as well as many other manufacturers of electronic products. I have
never encountered a nicer, more dedicated and competent service manager than
Mario Flemate. I was greatly disappointed when he left Telesensory.

Whilst we're reminiscing, I also worked for a number of years with someone
I'm assuming you must know - Peter Cracknell - who is still in the industry
as the Queensland manager for Quantum Technologies.

All the best,
Nigel Herring
