Hi Mary,
I suspect whatever happens you'll need to do some converting to take a
bunch of different people's testimonials and meld them together, adjusting
audio levels if nothing else. For me, the easiest thing to do would
probably be to make a recording with my Olympus recorder. I could send it
to you as the WMA right out of the recorder or use GoldWave to turn it
into practically anything you'd like. Then again, why convert the
original if you're just going to do the same again on your end with a
further loss in audio quality. Would you suggest anyone sending an
Olympus recording send an "HQ Mode" recording, or is there some different
setting you think would be preferable?

Yes, definitely this would be wonderful to add. I'm really open about what
people can include; the more, the better! I've done my taxes with the aid
of
the optacon for 20 years; also every CD, DVD, commercially purchased tape
and most old vinyl records were labeled with the aid of the optacon. When
I
was a technical writer, I was responsible for computer manuals that had a
lot of command syntax diagrams and other graphics, and never could have
worked on them without the optacon. And I've told my story here about
adventures with rebuilding Windows, and relying on the optacon to read
computer screens before the PC became available..
