Mary,
You can still submit pieces to Main Menu. To arrange a piece on the show,
go to:
http://mainmenu.acbradio.org

Accessible World,
http://www.accessibleworld.org/
Has a program called Tech Talk on Monday Evenings. There is usually a
prerecorded demonstration and then time for questions at the end.
Pat Price, the founder and events coordinator of accessible world would
probably be the person you would want to email about doing a presentation.
Pat's email address is:
pat@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Hope this information has helped you somewhat,

Subject: [optacon-l] creating an audio demo for ACB Radio and other internet
radio stations

Good morning list,
I could do it very easily. A couple days ago I did a podcast that featured
the youtube movies which I converted to MP3 files, and at the end did a demo
of how I read print; I read a few sentences from a book. I'm not acquainted
with accessibility world although I've heard of it; and back when Jonathan
Mosen was doing the Main Menu show on ACB Radio, I submitted a few software
product reviews. I'm not sure how they currently do things. But I can create
a presentation, since I create audio podcasts all the time. I just need to
know what to do and how to proceed after I put it together.
