Hi, Grace! I don't believe that Mike meant that quality was not important.
In fact, in at least one post, he mentioned that he had rejected books that
had garbled text, missing pages, etc. If the story cannot be followed due
to missing pages or garbled or missing text, then of course it should be
rejected. The bottom line, is, guys, that we all owe it to Bookshare to do
our best to create scans that are great, not necessarily perfect. On the
other hand, if a book is published that we feel needs a major overhaul, we
are welcome to give it the "special treatment" it deserves and submit a
cleaner, more readable copy. Take care!

Hi Jocella:
I have to disagree. This started out as a discussion of page breaks. But it evolved into quality. Someone clearly stated that if it was light reading, like romance, quality was not as important. I for one enjoy reading romance and feel that I still deserve quality.

however, it isn't fair for some of us to miss reading several pages of a book simply because someone didn't think it was work fixing since it was just a book for pleasure reading.
Hi,
I don't think that's what is being sid at all. I think What began this was pagebreaks and what people are saying is hat as long as the book is readable meaning that it is easily followed, weather or not it has pagebreaks should not keep it out of the colledtion. No one is denigrading romances or saying that they deserve less time than an other book.
