I would be rather sad if there were any misunderstanding about the
interpretation of my words.

This is not a matter of being 'nice' to some or of cruelty to some others,
human rights, humane rights, rights of the individual, plight of
starving children, the downtrodden, the lexicographically starved,
children of lesser gods, second class citizenry, the oppressed masses of
the world blind, and all the rest of the worthy likes. This is only a
pedestrian publishing standards issue of a private corporation, which is
neither an association, nor it is a club, and has both the right and the
duty of ruling on the matter.

In its youth Bookshare has been rightly rather loose in its
posting/publishing standards, now we have nearly 20K titles in the
eStacks and it is time to tighten those standards up a notch. I am
looking forward to some clearly delignated standards from Benatech staff
to which we volunteers can and will delightedly conform.

[bksvol-discuss] reading in mp3Re: Re: question: Re: page breaks

Mary, I am talking about MP3 reading, not txt reading in BC.

it just doesn't seem right that the community should be deprived of good
books simply because of the pagination. I agree with those who say there
should be a note. It isn't fair to the rest of us. If you read in MP3
shouldn't you be able to book mark them, Guido? If not, don't read them.
I know that sounds cruel but it's crueler to deprive the rest of us simply
because a few can't find a way around the problem.
