Ignoring combat, Boomers are much safer relative to spaceflight, partly
because they have a lot of power and can a lot more mass margin, despite
the need to have the hull withstand positive instead of negative
pressure.

Still, the safety culture is extraordinary in my experience and much could be learned from it even given human spaceflight being far more inherently dangerous.
