The comments you saw are from the admin, not another validator. When a book
is kicked back, the comments you see are from Gustavo, who puts in a note of
what needs to be verified for a book to be accepted. Take care.

Yes, the comment history said that the title and copyright information
needed verified. That was strange because the title was missing at the top
of the book as submitted, but I put it in right at the top of the book I
tried to upload on Sunday evening..

(By the way, how did this comment history get created? If the book was
released for validation again, why didn't someone else take it and just do
the title and copyright verification instead of just commenting on the fact
that it was missing? Did they download the book and just reject it, or are
these comments done on some other page? My validation instructions made no
mention of this process.)

And there is mention of my having validated the book. My comment is right
there that it was my first validation and that I had made sure that all page
numbers and page breaks were included.

Also, the information I added to the form, which the submitter did not
include, such as the ISBN number, and a long synopsis was up there, as well
as a correction of a typo in the brief synopsis.

I just sent up the book again this morning, and the scan statistics look
pretty much as I remembered them from the first time I uploaded the book on
Sunday evening, and I made extremely sure that it was the version I fixed
up.

The thought I am having now is that in some mysterious way, the
unregistration I experienced on Sunday evening when I tried and failed to
get to the Step One page after logging in - which Janice Carter fixed - may
have created some problem in the validation process causing the book to be
released. If that's what happened, then the book I sent up this morning
will - hopefully - be the one that future readers will get.
