Sure. But these are intended to be pressurized vessels (both combustion
chambers and tanks). Therefore, there are additional strengthening
factors.

Otherwise, your point is well taken. It is possible to make impractical
designs.

Besides electroplated copper, by the way, there's also electroless
copper, which is better at plating the inside of cavities (which in
electroplating are farther away from the anode and thus plate more
