Thanks all of you for your, as usual, excellent responses; I learned a lot. I
have decided to take the advice of scanning the book assuming I can find it. I
live in a somewhat rural area so library access isn't that easy. When I come
across a book rated good that I really want to read, I will try your
suggestions which I have saved and see how the finished product turns out.
Thanks again. Jill

Hi, Jill. I'm sure others have probably already told you this, but it's
actually preferable if you take the DAISY file and convert the HTML to RTF
before reading it and submit the RTF, not the BRF. Take care.

There is a book on the list rated fair that I want to read, so I have
decided to try to edit it while reading in the hope of submitting a better
copy. I want to use my BrailleNote and would very much appreciate it if someone
who has done this with the BrailleNote could give me specific directions. Since
I will be working with it as a BRF file, what do I do when it is time to send
it back to Bookshare? TIA. Jill
