Which is one area where the V-2 design got things right: completely
mobile launch equipment, rather than fixed sites with conspicuous fixed
structures. The V-1 campaign suffered severely from determined air
attacks on anything that even looked like it *might* be a V-1 launch site,
while a V-2 launch system was basically just some specialized trucks,
which nobody could find well enough to attack.
