Yes, we did work hard, and they told me they could tell that
I was used to working hard, which, indeed, I was. At that
time, I was a social worker's assistant, plus filled in on
switchboard and guided tours, as well as served on United
Fund Speaker's Bureau, so I never had an idle moment at
work. One day, I ran the switchboard all day and typed six
of those IBM dictabelts; I don't know if you are familiar
with them.
Best regards,
Carolyn

Carolyn,
I've spent the last two hours figuring it out! Must have
been July/August 1973. I can't get it any closer than that!
I did, however, get the first R1C off the line. I still own
it, after a variety of trips to Richard.
We really worked hard those two weeks in Palo Alto. Came
home with a great skill set.

I've used a R1C and r1D right handed, index finger for as
have read. Didn't want to wait for TSI to build a lefthanded unit.
Trained at Palo Alto the summer before Nixon quit - lots oftalk around
the restaurant tables about that. So, lots of years.is

Hello Anne.
As I'm sure you will know, the advantage of an Optacon II
can use any finger on either hand to read, as the array
open, and"unsubscribe"
not in an enclosed space as in the Optacon R 1 D, whichlimits you to
the index finger on your left hand.
Best wishes,
Peter
