Hi All,
I spent some time observing the bird in question and went home and studied the
field guides and photos taken. The eye ring is mostly complete, unlike the
arcs of the MacGillivray’s Warbler. The eye ring is not as bold as the
Connecticut and the underside yellow is brighter than the Connecticut’s. Also,
the under tail coverts do not seem as long as Connecticut’s. So, I agree with
Joe’s assessment of a female Mourning Warbler.
