Brawny, those two caches are really nice and were lots of fun. But, I would
not lose any sleep over no one finding them this summer. I think someone
would be nuts to attempt to bushwack back to them this time of the year! I
would recommend waiting until at least the first frost! One of the things
that upsets me about caching nowadays is there are only a few quality caches
like this and they get overwhelmed by the cache places who only care about
numbers. People say well then don't do the ones you don't like. The
problem is you cannot filter out all the nothing but numbers matter caches.
I got so fed up with all the lampposts, guardrails, playgrounds, etc.,
that I stopped caching for a couple of months. But I've been caching lately
and have been trying to be more selective on which ones I do. While I still
enjoy caching, it was much more fun in the early days when almost every
cache took you to a neat location or was an evil hide. I wish they would
ban dummy accounts and only allow a cacher to have 100 caches active at a
time. Hopefully this would result in more of a balance between the numbers
hound caches and the quality caches.
