Hi all,
Oh, c'mon, Gary, this whole discussion which BTW, has been going on
sporatically for the past several months, was started precisely because
we want to have everyone getting the best books they can. So, that
starts with scanners. Scanners need help to scan well. Then it goes
to validators. Validators need encouragement to reject bad scans so
that they can be rescanned.
Actually, Gary, old friend, if you find a book that is of poor quality
on Bookshare, and you scan it so that you can read it, why not submit a
BSO? That way the book gets replaced, more people can read it, and you
get credit for the scan.
