“Hit the moon” is something Korey Kline once told me he wanted to do and it’s
appropriate. I’ve listened to people who defend the programs you cite and will
attempt to convince how much we have gained even thought nothing flew. At the
same time, they try to explain how the Saturn was an inefficient launch system
and attempting to reproduce it would be a step backward. I’m not making that
up.
