Same here. Acetylene can't be moved in the liquid state or
pressurized over 29 psi without a chance of explosive decomposition.
Nitrous also has problems with tanks going boom! once in a while. The
idea that you could mix these two and get something relatively stable
I would think unlikely.
But that seems to have been the case. It just wasn't stable *enough*.
