I have used the optacon to look at charts. Unless the chart is fairly
simple, it's hard and very time consuming. Sometimes enlarging the pattern
helps, but there's no guarantee.
There is a knitting list made up of blind and visually impaired knitters. If

First, I want to tell you that I'm so pleased to have my optaCon ! repaired
and back home. I'm thinking what book to start with.
second, I wonder if anyone has any experience with reading knitting patterns
or their drawings. Sorry, I don't know the correct English word for these.
Could I take advantage of these drawings with OptaCon? Of course, I can't
see colours, since I'm totally blind. It is my belief that colours play a
role in these drawings.
