Thanks for this update, Tee
I too am leaning towards Canon Camera and Scanner/Printer, but it's a 
lot of $ to be wrongly spent if deciding inxorrectly :)

I'm a complete novice in all of this  -  and would like to keep abreast 
of your progress and eventual choice.
It's so easy to be oversold by the experts, if one's needs are pretty 
ordinary.
