To answer all re the Mostly Digital Seminar & Ad. When the Online version of Muglo was first set up we, the duly elected board, decided to advertise both London Apple stores as a service to members. Before that time the stores paid us advertising in our monthly Newletter, however such monies due got harder & harder to collect & we did have annual membership fees. With an online service our costs dropped to what we used to pay in one month for room rental to pay for a full year. Eventually the kitty all but dried up so I approached all 3 stores & Terry Steeper for funds in return for web site Ads. Terry responded yea, the masonville chain store that sold Apples said yea, but never paid & closed the store, the other stores said no. $100 + kitty balance paid for another year. The next year members shamed Mac Outpost to donate $50, Terry donated another $50, but Mostly Digital (Randy) refused "as there was no return for me", he arrogantly thought Apple users will come to him anyway. He gave us free meeting space on 3 occasions, which cost him nothing but his time & he made quite a few sales of used equipment on every occasion. Then I found a way to reduce the costs to less than $50 a year, hosting is now free, website registration is about $20 a year & so that figure sustains us. BTW Mac Outpost does promote Muglo all the time, Mostly Digital doesn't. As to members advertising, All Members may advertise for free, they always have been able to. I hope that clears things up.
