Pam, have you tried putting the chapter titles down three or four lines? Or do you mean the stripping of the chapter headings that appear on each page at the top? I think a lot of us do that manually. The automatic stripper doesn't do it if there's something different on each page, like page numbers that appear at the top. I gather it only strips them when they're repeated, and at least in books I've done, they so often are corrupted by the scanner that they're seldom repeated sequentially.
