Carrie's submissions are beautiful. There are others who do just terrific
scans. It really pays to mess around with optimizing settings before
beginning. Quality is so much improved with a little up front work. Books
can get on to the public part of the site much faster if we do not have to
fix them so much.
Is there some guidance we can give people to stop getting all those line
feeds which just show up in the middle of sentences or, worse, in the
middle of words. I have a sort of procedure I use to clean them all out
but not having them in the first place would help. What setting in what
program is causing this? I run across it particularly in older submissions.
