You and Peter seem to have covered all the tings I
thought of, including starting with a new password.

Did you change ISPs or do you have cable or DSL
access? If so, maybe the problem is with them. I had a
problem for 5 months accessing the San Diego County
Library site, and nothing either the County or my
cable company could do helped, nor could they telll me
what the problem was. Finally, after 5 months, I was
suddely able to access it again.

I've had to turn off my Norton automatic virus scanner
to get my scanner to work smoothly, although I don't
know why that should affect it. If you have Norton
running constantly int he backgfound, you might try
turning that off.

Good luck. I don't know why Peter says that changing
your password wouldn't matter.

Maybe try writing to the webmaster--or, if you have
cable or DSL, have them check. We had problems with
DSL recently and something the phone company had done
has erased out password and we had to start over with
a new one.

I don't tink any of my ideas will work, though. You'be
probably tried them all.

Cindy
