Charles, It depends on how it is implemented. My initial thought is it would be nice, as long as it had a way to see what it sees analogically, I don't really want something that tries to convert things to a digital image. As I think about it further, there are a lot of devices that are available to us today that allow notetaking -- from a bluetooth keyboard integrated with a smartphone, to the gjhetto notetakers like those from Humanware and HIMS, to a notebook computer. If this has notetaking capability with some synching capability, cool. But, if it is going to add significantly to cost and development, then maybe just a good separate Optacon-replacement will suffice. Sorry for not being real coherent on my thoughts, but I do have a sense of conflictedness.
