At this point the tactile actuators are being refined and "mass production" 
techniques are being considered.
Building the electronics and the programming for a notetaker or a box of 
features is easy in comparison to the tactile display challenge.

I'd get one, if it ever comes out.
I keep hearing grand ideas for new Optacons or new braille displays, but, so
far, they're all only ideas.
