I suppose a one-handed optacon could be a boon to a new crop of users, or seasoned users for that matter, who have effective use of only one hand. For my part, I wouldn't be opposed to the idea if (a) I could have a left-handed one, and (b) that one hand didn't suddenly require 10 fingers to accomplish both tracking and character recognition functions.
