As I've read that the areas of the brain sighted people use for visual
processing are used by we congenitally blind folks for tactual perception; I
suspect we would do some of the same sort of processing we use for use of
the Optacon. It would be interpolation of visual data, just as we process
the visual data the Optacon is enabling us to experience and interpolating
it to our Tactual Sensorum.
