Hi Olga, I have used an optacon since 1976. I work for IBM and am in my 28th year. I would not have a career without the optacon. I used it to read the computer screen from 1977 to 1991. I live alone, as others in this list do, and I have used the optacon to read books, and just about anything else you can do with it. When I was a programmer, I checked my code with the optacon; when I was a technical writer, I wrote technical books and checked diagrams with the optacon. I can not live without it. long live the optacon!
