OK, I have some problems ... don't we all? Computer crashed . . . big time. First for me since I owed my first Mac back in the mid-80s. Well, that's not exactly true, my SE finally just gave it up. Anyway I took it into Mac Outpost and they revived it. Got a lot of stuff back, lot of important stuff, like Quicken for instance but . . . Lots not right and I'm slowly finding out what. For instance on my desktop I have a lot of icons, columns, story ideas, etc. They're still there but when I try to open them I got a dialogue box asking me to fill in my name, company then my 10-digit CD no. , which, it says, is in my CD liner notes. Huh? I'm sure I'm going to find more probs but this one has me confused. Same thing holds, by the way, for a document I used to keep track of all the monthly bills. Am I dead on this? I have a G4 mac with 9.2.1 OS. jim _________________________________________________ For information concerning the MUGLO List just click on http://muglo.on.ca/pages/members.html#Joinmuglo Don't forget to periodically check our web site at: http://muglo.on.ca/
