My last visit to your store to ask you personally to donate $50 was refused as you said "There's no advantage for me". Needless to say I/ we have not approached you since, mostly because I found ways to reduce out yearly hosting fees, which was covered by the other links on our Opening Web page. > We do offer many "Apple" events and informative sessions on > specific Apple topics at our store which have been free of charge > and which many of the Muglo members have either attended and/or are > welcome to attend. Support is also a two way street. Muglo's Email list has been used by some of your employees to announce many of these events, so we are/have supported your store. At our meetings in your store you also made a few sales of equipment. > I believe in supporting your organization as well as local events, > I just wish to set the record straight for those whom may be ill > advised of Mostly Digital's position on sponsorship. > > I will be glad to field on questions on this subject if you care to > respond. > -- > Sincerely, > > Randy Wright > Mostly Digital Inc. Westmount Public library offered to host our meetings for free and with Newbie switcher members we had a physical meeting there recently. Each $50 donation supports our costs for about a year, so it's not that we come knocking every year. I hope this clarifies our position on the matter.
