Whoa there!
Before you totally lambast this idea, remember this is a kid who is showing
initiative (look at his profile). Appreciate his enthusiasm, and be
flattered that he thinks enough of SLAGA website to want to imitate it.
Encourage him to participate in SLAGA. And encourage his creative energy.
Let's see what he does with the St. Charles website. If the new site offers
useful new information, people will find their way to it. If not, they will
continue to use the SLAGA site. Maybe even invite him to help out with the
SLAGA website maintenance.
My concern is that you bruise the feelings of a young newcomer before he
gets the chance to appreciate your humor. Welcome aboard weatherexpert!
