Brad,

You've opened up a can of worms on this. It's worse than the PC/MAC,
Ford/Chevy, BMW/Yugo (Garmin/Magellan) debates.

I'd guess in our group the Palm OS is favored.Palms were out first so it
stands to reason that they would be the most popular.

I've got a Toshiba PPC and really like it. GPXSonar reads the GPX files
directly so there is no conversion needed as when using Plucker on the Palm
OS.

Both platforms have excellent mapping programs which can input waypoints to
display on the maps. GSAK is the program to use on the PC side to massage
the data as needed for input to the PDA's.

More knives and threats to come from the others, I'm sure.
