Hi,
I think there is a unread mail box, but have not used it. i have started using
k-nine mail at least for now. I like keymail, but have not found a reliable
way to move through messages and find it to be time consuming since it doesn't
have threaded conversation view. Just my thoughts. I should mention that for
some strange reason I can not get you-tube to work well while playing vidios.
It just crashes. I have tried clearing the data and cash with no luck. Thanks.

adjusting. My experience with the email is mixed. As you have heard
from others, there's no way to delete all the messages in the trashI
folders all at once, so it's very time-consuming to clean it out
because they have to be deleted one by one. This is annoying, since
have already deleted them one by one from my inBoxes. However, it's
much faster than the Apex, and will read HTML files. Also, each

Right now, the Apex has it over the Touch in three areas: it has a
dictionary, it has GPS and it has the capability to edit Braille
files. The touch does not have a dictionary or GPS, but there are
probably accessible apps for each. Editing Braille files will be
possible in the next update, which will come out in the fall.
I haven't written any documents in my Touch yet because I prefer to
them in Braille, which is not possible.
Because I haven't used my Touch much yet, I'm not sure about it
crashing; but I've not heard of such except for Mayson's trouble. If
you've been on this list for awhile, you'll know about that.
As for the camera, I don't know about OCR capability, but the KNFB
Reader Mobile app will be part of the next update. I'm looking
forward to that!
I don't know anything about eventually connecting it to an iPhone.

I haven't had time to really get used to using Touch Braille, but I'm
thinking that will be my biggest challenge.so
As of yet, I don't know how quickly and easily I'll be able to get
from one Braille file to another, so I'm hesitant to use it in
church. I think it will take more keystrokes than I have time for,
I'll continue to use my Apex. Yep, I upgraded to the Touch, but I
kept my Apex.

I got to see a BrailleNote Touch this week and am considering
getting one, but I still have some questions that I'd love to get
help with here. In general, I'd love to hear from those of you
using the Touch about how you like it as compared to the Apex,
but here are some specific things I'm wondering about
1. How easy or challenging was the adjustment from the Apex to
the Touch? Were you able to perform basic tasks like writing
documents, checking email, using the internet, etc, fairly
quickly? Were there things that took a while to learn/feel
comfortable with on the Touch?
2. How stable is the Touch compared to the Apex in terms of how
often it crashes, how often it needs to be reset, etc?
3. Is there anything the Apex can do that the Touch can't?
4. I know the Touch can't connect to an iPhone. Do we think
this might change, or is it just unnecessary given the Touch's
capabilities?
5. Is the internet faster/more accessible on the Touch than it
is on the Apex?
6. I saw that the Touch has a camera. Does it have OCR
capabilities?
7. Any other pros/cons/things to be aware of as I consider
upgrading from the Apex to the Touch?
