Hi all,

Well, Lucy, I'm sure you'll get many responses on this, but here's my take after having access to a Touch for a week. No, it wasn't mine, so I couldn't do some of the things I wanted to do, but I'll try to answer your questions.

Hi all,

I got to see a BrailleNote Touch this week and am considering
getting one, but I still have some questions that I'd love to get
help with here.  In general, I'd love to hear from those of you
using the Touch about how you like it as compared to the Apex,
but here are some specific things I'm wondering about

1.  How easy or challenging was the adjustment from the Apex to
the Touch? Were you able to perform basic tasks like writing
documents, checking email, using the internet, etc, fairly
quickly? Were there things that took a while to learn/feel
comfortable with on the Touch?

2.  How stable is the Touch compared to the Apex in terms of how
often it crashes, how often it needs to be reset, etc?

3.  Is there anything the Apex can do that the Touch can't?

4.  I know the Touch can't connect to an iPhone.  Do we think
this might change, or is it just unnecessary given the Touch's
capabilities?

5.  Is the internet faster/more accessible on the Touch than it
is on the Apex?

6.  I saw that the Touch has a camera.  Does it have OCR
capabilities?

7.  Any other pros/cons/things to be aware of as I consider
upgrading from the Apex to the Touch?

Thanks so much in advance for your thoughts on any or all of
these questions!
