I guess this is for Marissa or whomever else from staff might monitor here. I think this has been raised before, but I thought I would raise it again, as I don't remember if it had been commented upon one way or the other. Do you think it would be possible for people who release a book back into the fvalidation pool to be able to include a comment as to why they were doing so, which comment would appear in the list of comments related to the book when somebody goes to upload it? If you get something that you don't feel like dealing with or can't deal with, but don't think is bad enough to warrant nuking, it would be nice to be able to let the next person who comes along see a comment as to why you released the book. It would help them know if its something they can deal with: e.g. there's a really garbled page and you can't find a copy in your local library, or maybe don't own a scanner so can't fix it. If you could put that comment, another validator who also didn't have a scanner would know not to take that book and leave it for somebody who could fix the problem. Mary
