Hello Everyone,
Tonight's meeting of The Writer's Practice Group was a discussion of
how best to create a space for yourself that is most conducive to
writing. An audio archive of this short discussion can be found on
the Friends of Bookshare web site. The Link to that web site is:

The next meeting of The Writer's Practice Group will be
Wednesday, January 16 2008 in the Friends of Bookshare classroom at
6:00 P.M. Pacific Time, 7:00 P.M. Mountain Time, 8:00 P.M. Central
Time, and 9:00 P.M. Eastern time. All would-be writers are welcome.
If you are unable to read your prepared writing topic from the
list below aloud, please feel free to send me your chosen topic in
txt, rtf, doc, or docx format no later than an hour and a half before
the meeting. I will prepare it to be posted in the classroom's
browser, where the group will be able to read it. My e-mail address is:

Writing Topics For Next Week
Here are the writing topics for each day of the next week for
you to use in your daily writing practice. Please bring one to read
aloud to the group during the next meeting. Remember to keep the
piece, or part of a piece of writing that you choose to share with
the group to something that can be read aloud in five minutes or less
(no more than one-thousand words).
January 10 Write about a wound.
January 11 You are in a motel room
January 12 Write about acceptable losses.
January 13 After midnight.
January 14 Write about the horizon.
January 15 It's Saturday afternoon. You're not at home.
January 16 Write about a bed.
