Robbin,

I might just hope it's there. It is "the Fountainhead,," which weighs in at a little over 1100 pages.

As for the synopsis, whoever submitted the book originally (no doubt inadvertently) missed Ms. Rand's point.

I do appreciate the encouragement.

Peace,
Ernie

You can correct the synopsis...that's one of the beauties of validation, we can correct information in the input fields. I've had to do this a lot for the author (incorrect input format) and copyright holder (some submitters seem to be baffled as to what information is required here, regardless of how clear the copyright holder might be in the actual book).

Good luck with your upload problem. The only time I've had that happen is why I'm trying to upload a very long book. I still haven't gotten a good response from bookshare on this issue.

Hi all,

I just finished my first book, but I seem to be having a bit of a problem uploading it.

I am using Jaws 7, and The book is an rtf file. After clicking the "upload" button, and checking everything, I have clicked "Accept." Anyone who uses Jaws knows that it will give you the percentage of the file transfer.

In this situation, Jaws is going to 99 per cent, and stopping. at this point, I am losing speach unless I get out of the application.

When I checked later, the system told me I still had the book and could upload it. What gives?

Sorry to make this so long, but some explanation needed to be given.

One other observation--the synopsis is not correct. Can anybody give me a hand?

Thanks.

Peace,
Ernie
