I had that very problem once and I had a devil of a time figuring out what was
wrong. It turned out that it had to do with the decolunization settings. I had
turned off decolumnization because scanning tables of contents work better with
it off. Because, at the time, I was scanning one page at a time and there were
no columns on those pages I just left it that way and forgot about it. It did
not even occur to me that might have something to do with a paragraph break
appearing after each and every line. I scanned whole books with that problem
and really put my proofreaders to work. I tried everything I could think of
until I finally tried turning decolumnization back on. Poof! The problem was
fixed.

This note is really for Laurie Casner. It was suggested that she would perhaps be ab le to help mne. When I scan, every line is showing with paragraph marks. My thought is that this is a problem with the settings. But I don't know how to change them or, for that matter, what to change. I really want to be scanning again. Your help would be appreciated. When I spoke with a representative at Freedomscientific, it was thought it might have to do with workflow. To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to
