I believe we had this discussion some years ago, which was where the Off =
topic list came from for the bulk of the non technical matter.  I =
believe, as I recall, that the consensus was to tolerate minor abuse to =
keep the human side around.  Personally I still prefer judicious use of =
the delete button.

I think these kinds of mistakes keep the list 'human' and are usually
good for a chuckle. If nothing else, it gives you a chance to drown your
embarrasment in a beer or two.
