[optacon-l] Re: smart phone comparisons and which is best

I’ve had iPhones for 8 years now and it only took me a couple of days to get 
comfortable with the touch screen. However, I am completely in the Apple 
ecosystem having a MacBook Air and all the other computers in the house being 
Macs. I also teach Mac OS and iOS here in France.
My iPhone is my library, my Gps, my barcode reader, my OCR, and many more 
things. However, if I had to choose just one device to help me overcome the 
problems of being totally blind, that device would be my optacon, and in 
particular, my R1D.

people put up with too much hassle, which must be worth it to most people,
