J. R., Thanks for that information, and your great comments. I just finished a book of essays about math concepts and I was particularly fascinated with number theory and calculus, but I suppose it will be a while before I get to those since I'm starting with first year algebra. I peeked into the chemistry and it focuses on problem solving rather than the physical aspects; there are some books out on web braille that even have the periodic table in braille, although I hope it will be in the print workbook too. I look forward to the challenge of learning to think outside of boolean algebra and the programming world. I may not get far, but it looks like fun. I'm an old English major so I may not realize what I'm getting into, but it's never too late to find out.
