Evening Cathy. Welcome to the list.
I've had an optacon for almost 23 years. I got it to help my parents read
their mail since they're not fluent in English.
Also, I liked reading "PEOPLE" magazine, and books.
As I live alone, I find it quite useful for reading mail.
