I admire your success in using the Optacon for that project. There are so
many tasks which we can accomplish where the Optacon is the only way to do
it. I feel very sorry for kids who come through school these days because
they will miss this wonderful device, and they will miss the intimate degree
of contact we have enjoyed with the printed page and other print media.

In 1993 I used my Optacon to follow the diagrams in the instruction manual
for my Tecnics keyboard, which enabled me to eventually use the recording
sequencer.
