If no indication of the voltage of the light bulb, measure the voltage with a volt/ohm-meter, it should be something generic you can find at Radio Shack or any electronics supply house. Just be sure the connection part is the same (screw in, plug in, etc). ________________________________ From: "johnobuttons@xxxxxxxxxxx" <johnobuttons@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: optacon-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sun, June 12, 2011 7:29:01 PM Subject: [optacon-l] Replacement light bulb for optacon camera Hello, I trying to fix an optacon for a friend. After removing the ancient battery, the unit appeared to be working. However one of the two light bulbs in the camera (scanning) unit is Not lighting. Can anyone give me any advice on replacing this bulk. Has anyone ever tried using an LED replacement? Thanks for any and all help!
