Right, but I've found a way to use my Gmail address for postings but without 
using their SMTP server when posting to mailinglists like this. That means that 
I'll receive my own posts from the list and not as a copy from Gmail.

The only drawback may be that those of you who are using Gmail through their 
Webmail may get an error message saying that this post is probably not sent 
from a Gmail address. But you should still be able to read the post in a normal 
manner.

Those using Gmail through a local email client may not get such error messages.
