You should have no problem reading maps, although sometimes you
may have to change the invert setting to read some of the place
names, depending on how the map has been designed.
I am a member of our local transport and access forum, and
occasionally I get maps and plans from the Council to look at,
and I can get on with these. I also have a large collection of
Braille maps, but nowadays they are not as good as they used to
be.
